Our recently refurbished premises offer the Assembly Room (with stage and audio system) capacity 120, and the Lower Room with a capacity of 60.
An ideal venue for meetings, societies & groups, theatre & concerts, lectures, coffee mornings, yoga & pilates, weddings & parties and just about anything else you can think of.
ABOUT US
The Hawkshead Market Hall Trust is a registered charity (521117) whose charitable object is the provision of “a hall for the use of the public without distinction of sex, or political, religious or other opinion”. The Trust is the sole owner of the Market Hall building which dates back to 1790.
The Trust is governed by a board of Trustees, who have the power to co-opt additional Trustees if they think this desirable. Six Trustees are appointed by local user organisations, while three are elected (for a three-year, renewable term) at the AGM, normally held in the late Spring.
